A Professional Narrative of My Journey from Istanbul to Ankara and Back
A Professional Narrative of My Journey from Istanbul to Ankara and Back
My recent travel from Istanbul to Ankara—and back again—was a brief but deeply meaningful experience. I flew with Turkish Airlines – AJet, whose professionalism and hospitality set a refined tone for the entire journey. From my seat beside the window, Turkey unfolded beneath me in stunning detail: coastlines blending into valleys, scattered towns shimmering like quiet constellations, and the soft outline of mountains stretching into the horizon. The aerial view offered a serene, almost contemplative moment that remains vivid in my memory.
The cabin crew demonstrated exceptional courtesy and efficiency, reflecting the high standards of the airline and creating an atmosphere of comfort and respect throughout the flight.
Upon arrival in Ankara, my primary purpose was to complete several official procedures. I visited:
T.C. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, Yenilik ve Eğitim Teknolojileri Genel Müdürlüğü;
Dışişleri Bakanlığı – Tasdik Birimi;
and Embassy of the State of Palestine.
At each institution, the process was organized, respectful, and efficient. The staff members handled every step with professionalism, and the smooth progression of requirements made what could have been a stressful day feel remarkably manageable.
After completing the documentation, I headed to Opera Meydanı, where I obtained my Ankara Kart. This stop became a small but memorable milestone in learning how to navigate the city’s bus and metro system. The structure of Ankara’s transportation network differs from Istanbul’s, yet discovering it step by step brought a sense of familiarity and confidence.
I stayed at a hotel in the same district, where the view from my window added a beautiful dimension to the trip.
From my room, the nearby mosque appeared like an elegant architectural signature of the city. The sight of its minarets at dusk and the gentle resonance of the call to prayer created an atmosphere of spiritual calm. This simple yet powerful moment reflected the soul of Ankara—dignified, peaceful, and full of quiet depth.
The refined manners of the people I encountered throughout my stay further enriched the experience. Their respectfulness and warm communication left a lasting positive impression.
My return to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines – AJet marked the end of a short yet purposeful trip. Though the journey lasted only a few days, its impact was significant—an experience defined by professionalism, beautiful moments, and meaningful purpose.
This trip strengthened my appreciation for both cities, and it left a clear and lasting impression on my personal and professional path.
